These Terms and Conditions govern your membership of Bumi Privé, the private membership programme of Bumi Adventures. By applying for and accepting membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms must be read alongside Bumi Adventures' Booking Terms and Conditions, which continue to apply in full to all travel services arranged on your behalf.

References to "you" and "your" mean the primary named member and, where applicable, any additional named members confirmed in writing at the time of acceptance.

1. Membership Applications and Acceptance

All applications for Bumi Privé membership are subject to acceptance by Bumi Adventures at our sole and absolute discretion. We are under no obligation to accept any application or to provide reasons for declining one. Membership is confirmed upon our written acceptance of your application and receipt of the applicable initiation fee and first annual membership fee.

You are obliged to provide accurate and complete information when applying for membership. Failure to do so may result in termination of your membership without refund. You must notify us promptly of any changes to your personal information.

2. Membership Tiers

Bumi Privé currently offers the following membership tiers, full details of which are confirmed in writing upon acceptance:

Individual — membership for one named person, strictly personal and non-transferable.

Joint — membership for one primary member and one named companion or partner. An additional initiation fee applies for the companion. The companion must be nominated at the time of application or added subsequently with our prior written approval.

Family — membership for one primary member, one named partner and up to three named immediate family members. The scope of services provided to named family members will be confirmed on a case by case basis and may differ from services provided to the primary member. An additional initiation fee applies.

Corporate — membership for a named business entity, covering one primary named individual and up to two additional named executives or team members as confirmed at the time of application. An additional initiation fee applies per additional named individual.

Membership is strictly personal to the named member or members confirmed at the time of acceptance and may not be transferred, shared or assigned to any other person.

We reserve the right to introduce, modify or discontinue membership tiers at any time with reasonable notice to existing members. Such changes will not affect the benefits confirmed to you for your current membership year.

3. Membership Fees and Initiation Fee

A one-time initiation fee is payable upon acceptance of your membership application. The initiation fee is non-refundable in all circumstances, including where you subsequently cancel your membership for any reason.

Annual membership fees are as confirmed to you in writing upon application and prior to each renewal. Membership fees are payable annually in advance.

All fees are confirmed privately and are not published in full. We reserve the right to adjust membership fees for subsequent membership years with reasonable advance notice prior to your renewal date.

4. Membership Benefits

Bumi Privé membership includes access to the following benefits, subject to availability and the terms of any relevant third parties:

• Priority and streamlined access to all Bumi Adventures services

• A dedicated personal travel advisor relationship

• A defined number of bespoke trip designs per membership year as confirmed upon acceptance

• Priority response and dedicated communication

• 24/7 support during active trips via WhatsApp and telephone

• Access to Bumi Privileges including exclusive hotel perks, preferred partner benefits and VIP hospitality

• Priority access to unique and exclusive experiences, special requests and lifestyle management assistance

• Exclusive invitations to Bumi member events where applicable

• Pre-departure briefings and in-trip concierge accountability as standard

Membership benefits are not limited to the above and may be extended, enhanced or modified at our absolute discretion from time to time. We reserve the right to add, amend or remove individual benefits at any time. Any material reduction in core membership benefits will be communicated to you in advance of your next renewal date. Benefits are personal to named members and may not be transferred or used by non-members. Certain benefits may be subject to third-party availability and terms and conditions.

5. Cancellation Period

You have the right to cancel your membership within 14 days of our written acceptance of your application (the Cancellation Period). If you cancel within the Cancellation Period, you will receive a refund of your membership fee less a deduction for any services provided or costs incurred up to the date of cancellation. The initiation fee is non-refundable in all circumstances.

After the Cancellation Period has expired, membership fees are non-refundable for the current membership year in all circumstances, including where you choose to cancel your membership before the end of the membership year.

6. Minimum Membership Period and Renewal

Your initial membership is for a minimum period of 12 months from the date of acceptance. You may not cancel your membership during the initial 12-month period except within the Cancellation Period as set out above.

After the initial membership period, your membership will renew automatically on an annual basis unless you notify us in writing at least 30 days prior to your renewal date that you do not wish to renew. Failure to provide timely notice may result in your membership fee being charged for the subsequent year.

We will contact you prior to your renewal date to confirm the applicable membership fee for the coming year.

7. Suspension and Termination by Bumi Adventures

We reserve the absolute right to suspend or terminate your membership at any time where we have reason to do so, including but not limited to breach of these Terms, conduct we consider inappropriate or harmful to Bumi Adventures or its members, non-payment of fees, or any circumstances we consider detrimental to the quality of our service to other members.

Where we terminate your membership other than for breach or non-payment, we will refund the membership fee on a pro-rata basis in respect of the unexpired period of your current membership year. Where termination is due to breach of these Terms, non-payment or conduct, no refund will be due.

The initiation fee is non-refundable in all circumstances regardless of the reason for termination.

8. Relationship to Booking Terms

All travel services arranged through your Bumi Privé membership remain subject to Bumi Adventures' Booking Terms and Conditions. Membership does not alter or replace the Booking Terms, which continue to apply in full including in relation to planning fees, cancellation charges, supplier terms, insurance requirements and liability.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability to you in connection with your membership, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, is limited to the total value of the annual membership fee paid by you for the current membership year. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at bumiadventures.com. Membership requires us to hold and process personal data about you in order to deliver membership services. We may share relevant data with trusted partners and suppliers as necessary to fulfil your membership benefits.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will provide you with reasonable advance notice of any material changes. Your continued membership following notification of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. Where you do not accept material changes, you may terminate your membership at the end of the current membership year in accordance with clause 6, subject to the minimum membership period.

12. General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Bumi Adventures in relation to your membership and supersede all prior agreements, representations and arrangements relating to your membership.

No partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship is created by your membership.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

No failure or delay by us in exercising any right under these Terms constitutes a waiver of that right.

We reserve the right to assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to any third party or successor business without your consent, provided that your membership benefits are not materially reduced as a result.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
